Here you’ll find information about shopping opportunities available to Hallmark retirees, including card shop hours and special events at Hallmark locations. We’ve also included a link to PerkSpot, where you can explore additional discounts on products and experiences.

We hope these benefits make it easier—and more enjoyable—to stay connected.

Retiree Shopping Event & Visitors Center Open House

Reconnect, reminisce and enjoy a morning at Hallmark.

As many of you know, plans are underway for Hallmark’s headquarters to relocate, making way for the new Kansas City Royals stadium. While the timing of that transition is still being determined, we know the current headquarters holds decades of memories for employees, retirees, and their families; therefore, we want to create opportunities to celebrate the places, traditions and connections that have made Hallmark special for generations.

With that in mind, we invite you to join us on Monday, July 27, from 8–11 a.m. for a special Retiree Shopping Event and Visitors Center Open House. Whether you’re catching up with former colleagues, exploring Hallmark history, or shopping for special finds, we hope you’ll stop by and spend the morning with us.

8:00–10:00 a.m. | Coffee & Connections at the Hallmark Visitors Center
Before heading to the surplus store, start your morning with coffee, light bites and a walk down memory lane. This informal open house is an opportunity to reconnect with fellow retirees, share memories and explore exhibits that celebrate Hallmark’s rich history, creativity and enduring legacy.

Browse Hallmark merchandise and special finds at the Surplus Store, open exclusively for retirees during this event.

While you’re in the building, we also invite you to visit the signature tile hallway leading into the main corridor on the fourth floor. Many retirees helped create this unique display, which recognizes the people who have shaped Hallmark over the years. Take a moment to revisit the tiles, reflect on your Hallmark journey and snap a photo to preserve a piece of Hallmark history.

Parking & Main Building Access

Enter through the corporate entrance off Gillham and check in at the 8th floor lobby. From there, you may take the elevator to the first floor and walk to the Visitors Center or go directly to the fourth floor for the Surplus Store.

Please note that as we begin the early preparation needed for our headquarters transition, some areas of the building are no longer accessible or may be undergoing changes. To help support everyone’s safety and minimize disruption to this work, event access will be limited to the Visitors Center, Surplus Store and signature tile hallway.

Crown Café:
Retirees must be accompanied by an active Hallmark employee to access the Crown Café.

Crown Room Catering:
Any Hallmark Retiree can access the Crown Room Catering website by creating an account at hallmark.catertrax.com (if one has not been created).  A Retiree can order specialty bakery items such as pumpkin bread, Texas sheet cake, and other bakery items.   Pick-up for non-holiday orders would be picked up at the McGee Circle Drive (25th & McGee) Mon-Thu by 10am.

The Plant Location Open House Event has been scheduled, 2026 marks the 3rd year for this fun event.

Lawrence, Leavenworth and Liberty Employee Shops

Retirees do not need an escort to shop at the Liberty Employee Card Shop, Leavenworth Manufacturing Employee Card Shop, or the Lawrence Manufacturing Employee Card Shop.

    • Retirees can shop and gain access to these shops during our regular open hours (see hours below for these locations)
    • Payment Accepted:  Visa, MasterCard or Discover.

  1. Shop in person in any of our plant locations (Leavenworth, Lawrence or Liberty) during open hours (listed below).  50% discount
  2. Place an order using forms below, we offer shipping and a few pickup options.
  3. Shop at Hallmark store at Crown Center during open hours.  40% discount on most Hallmark and Allied products.
