Hallmark Recognized on Forbes 2023 Top 500 List: “America’s Best Employers For Diversity”

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (May 17, 2023) — Hallmark Cards, Inc. announced that it has been named to the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers For Diversity 2023. This list identifies and recognizes the top 500 companies that excel at promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) in the workplace, based on feedback from employees.

Partnering with Statista, Forbes conducted an anonymous survey of a diverse pool of 45,000 Americans from large employers to rate their organizations using diverse criteria. Respondents belonging to underrepresented groups were invited to recommend businesses other than their own.

This recognition highlights Hallmark’s commitment to DE&I and the company’s progress in its DE&I journey. Hallmark is intentional about creating an inclusive environment and encourages employees to celebrate the individual attributes that make each and every Hallmarker unique. This is essential to its culture and continues to be a driving force in creating a more emotionally connected world.

Hallmark’s inclusive culture is integrated into every aspect of its business, from hiring and vendor relationships to product design and development. It is also reflected through Hallmark’s various Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), including those for African Americans; Asian Americans; employees living with disabilities; Latinxs; members of the LGBTQIA community; active military and veterans of the service; women and young professionals.

Being named to the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers for Diversity 2023 is just one of several recent accolades for Hallmark. The company has also received the following recognitions:
