Burton brings more than 20 years of experience at Hallmark, much of it in innovation and business leadership

Kansas City, Mo. (January 28, 2022) – Hallmark Cards, Inc. announced today the promotion of Sara Beth Burton to senior vice president of global supply chain. In this role, Burton will oversee supply chain planning, manufacturing, logistics, procurement and product integrity functions for Hallmark Global, the company’s greeting card and retail business.

“Sara Beth brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and innovative thinking to our global supply chain,” said Smith Holland, president of Hallmark Global. “Over the last two decades, her leadership has helped transform our business as she worked across business functions to produce and launch new business strategies.”

Burton’s career began at Hallmark in finance in 2001. Over the years, she has held positions in many different parts of the business before transitioning to digital commercialization where she built Hallmark’s greeting card business on Amazon from the ground up and launched the company’s omnichannel presence with more than 20 mass retailers. “I am excited for this opportunity to lead Hallmark’s global supply chain operation,” said Burton. “This is a team that is leading the way in developing new ideas and capabilities to bring products to our consumers to help them live more caring and connected lives filled with meaningful moments.”

“In addition to Sara Beth’s countless business contributions, she has been a model for caring and connected leadership and a mentor to employees across the organization,” said Holland.
