Hallmark’s new Anthem song cards celebrate all of life’s big milestones with catchy tunes and popular beats. The collection launches this month at Hallmark Gold Crown stores and Hallmark.com.
Since Hallmark launched song cards in 2006, they have remained popular with consumers. Recent collections like the CMA country music song cards showed that using current music and artists can re-inspire interest in song cards.
“We received consistent requests from Hallmark Gold Crown shoppers and retailers to offer a broader assortment of song cards,” says Kyle Monson, category manager – Hallmark Greetings. “We took the opportunity to put together an exclusive offering that will position Hallmark Gold Crown as the ‘go-to’ destination for song cards.”
The Anthem collection is exclusive to Hallmark Gold Crown stores and Hallmark.com. The cards feature original songs by original artists with updated design elements such as vibrant colors, fonts that pop and eye-catching photography.
“We developed our caption mix, content and creative strategy to appeal to current song card shoppers and also to bring in new, younger consumers,” says Katie Seymour, product manager – Hallmark Greetings. “Building on current greeting card trends, this line will include more open-ended but still relevant messages. Our team did a great job creating clean, updated cards influenced by pop culture and music industry design.”
For 2017, eight-card collections of Anthem cards will be available for Valentine’s Day, Graduation, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas.
