I&#8217;m an artist\/designer and live in the Kansas City area with my husband and our two dogs. I love creating art that uses cut paper, collage, mark making and bold color palettes. I love the simplicity of mid-century design and am drawn to create pieces that have an imperfect, simple, honest quality. I am a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute with a BFA in design. I&#8217;ve been drawing and making stuff ever since I can remember.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What inspires you to create?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Colors, nature, interior design, fashion. As a painter &amp; designer I&#8217;m constantly observing the world around me and filtering what I&#8217;m seeing into shapes, composition and color palettes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What advice would you give to people looking to express their creativity?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Lose your ego and try to just play.
