The Wild Peach Studio

About
I am a lifetime Kansas resident, wife and dog mom of three, with a passion for queso, margaritas and Mexican food. My art is inspired by my inner feelings and expressed using vibrant colors, plants, moons, and positive vibes.
What inspires you to create?
Creating for me is the way I show the world who I am. Im inspired by so many things around me, other artists, bright colors, plants, landscapes, etc. Seeing something beautiful that inspires me will spark creative thought, where I imminently feel called to start drawing or painting and I just see where it leads me. That being said, my main inspiration is myself. When I’m feeling stuck or burnt out I try to look inside to rediscover my unique power and try to create art from that place. I let my own individual thoughts and feelings lead the way.
What advice would you give to people looking to express their creativity?
Figure out what is it that makes you you, and try to find your own unique voice and express that through your form of art. In my opinion, It’s all about owning the gifts you have and learning the skills to best show them to the world.
How does your art connect with people?
My art connects with people because it is positive, colorful, and uplifting.I think it makes people feel seen and lets them know they aren’t alone. I try to say the things people need to hear by writing about my own personal feelings and struggles, and hoping they might feel the same way. I think people want positivity in their life, especially during this dark time, I just try to be that light for them.
