About

I worked at Hallmark for nearly 35 years, first planning card product and then creating product as a photo stylist and as a designer. As a retiree, I now have more time to focus on personal creative passions, including jewelry design and crochet wearables. I always enjoy sharing this work with everyone who attends Hallmarket.

What inspires you to create?

Color, texture, shape and how they play together always intrigues me…whether making jewelry, a crochet shrug, a photograph or when working in any medium. I like to explore the possibilities.

What advice would you give to people looking to express their creativity?

Play! Let yourself enjoy the process without judging the outcome. And keep playing…see what you are drawn to. Be curious.

How does your art connect with people?

When we wear something special it makes us feel good. It’s a simple pleasure and I enjoy seeing people light up when they wear my jewelry or crochet wearables or find the perfect gift for someone special to them.
