About
I’m Jess! My background is in Event Planning and Wedding Coordinating. I’ve been with Hallmark for the last three years working closely with the Creative community under Jen Walker. I started Fitz as an outlet during the pandemic and have been loving it as a source of creative expression and community networking. I’ve been involved with the Strawberry Swing for the last couple years and have recently begun wholesale distribution— partnering with small boutiques throughout the US, and locally within Kansas City.
What inspires you to create?
So much of my work is inspired from design trends found within the home interior world. I have always been passionate about breathing new life into antiques, and sharing interesting stories based on unique pieces that I’ve found. I’ve been able to bring that same intensity to my hand-painted and hand-sculpted jewelry. At first glance, you can see hints at traditional blue and white delft pottery, avian-inspired chinoiserie, and chintz floral wallpaper and fabric patterns. I love that each unit is created individually, making each piece different — not one pair of earrings, or any two rings/necklaces will be the same.
