I have worked as a professional artist for a number of years as a freelance illustrator and currently in the Illustration Studio at Hallmark.

What inspires you to create?

Expressions of the imagination that are inspired by the mysteries and strangeness of people and the natural and imagined world.

What advice would you give to people looking to express their creativity?

Look at things out there that exist in the world. Draw from life. Imagine things that don’t exist in the world.

Go outside

Go inside also.

How does your art connect with people?

Some artist’s work is so impressive. That’s great but my favorite artists are impressive because they inspire me to create. I won’t to do that.
