I am a Hallmarker, wife, mom, and craft-aholic. I love creating new things for my family and friends. Crafting gives me a creative stress outlet. I love to make home decor, and am drawn to bright, fun colors, rainbows, and something that will make you smile. My enneagram is a 3w2- I am driven, passionate, and I love people. What inspires you to create?

I am inspired by fun textures, bright colors, fashion trends, and a hint of shine. I’ve made pieces to coordinate with other artwork in the home, to stand alone as artwork, and to bring a touch of whimsy to the space.

What advice would you give to people looking to express their creativity?

Try something new! You never know what you might like until you try it. Take a class, buy a kit, go to a studio to find the medium that you might enjoy. I wanted to learn something new during the pandemic, so I bought a weaving kit off Etsy, found some YouTube instructional videos, and went for it. Don’t expect to be perfect right away, let yourself learn and enjoy the art and you’ll find your style along the way.

How does your art connect with people?

I hope my art shares colors they love, brings warmth into their space, and gives people a sense of comfort.
