There is no better way to give children a healthy start than by immunizing them against serious illness. The U.S. immunization rate, although at 70.4 percent, leaves more than one million children under two years old vulnerable to preventable diseases. And with approximately 12,000 babies born every day in our country, we have a long way to go to ensure that all children will get the vaccinations they need.

At Hallmark Cards, we want to be sure those kids get a better chance at good health by doing what we do best—strengthening relationships. Since For America’s Babies was established in 1995, 40 states and territories have participated in this charitable program by sending Hallmark immunization cards as part of their educational outreach efforts. These greeting cards, donated by Hallmark, help governors reach families in their states with an encouraging message to protect their children’s health with timely vaccinations as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.

Now more than ever, it is our privilege to help protect the health of our nation’s children through this program.
