Crown Media and Hallmark Name New Women Leaders

The Summer of 2020 brought two experienced women to leadership positions at Crown Media Family Networks and Hallmark. Kristen Harris, a longtime member of Hallmark’s leadership team in operations, distribution and customer development, was named vice president of diversity and inclusion at Hallmark. Wonya Lucas, an experienced executive in media and entertainment, brand management and product development, was named president and CEO of Crown Media.

As vice president of diversity and inclusion, Harris leads the development of enterprise-wide D&I strategies that center on demonstrating care for consumers and for one another; creating products and content inspired by every life experience; and designing a workplace where every employee feels included, respected and able to contribute their very best.

In her role as president and CEO of Crown Media, Lucas is responsible for the strategic direction, day-to-day management and successful growth of Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and Hallmark Drama, as well as Crown Media’s digital platforms and its streaming service, Hallmark Movies Now.

Hallmark is proud to have women like Harris and Lucas leading the way. Their impressive backgrounds and skillsets will help propel the company forward in new and innovative ways.
