Hallmark and Sanrio itty bittys® Plush: A Big Help This Holiday Season for Families In Need

Select Hallmark products will once again benefit Toys for Tots

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 6, 2016) —This holiday season, Hallmark is once again supporting Toys for Tots with the introduction of four popular Sanrio itty bittys® plush - with Hello Kitty®, Chococat®, My Melody® and Keroppi® each decked in festive holiday attire. For each itty bittys purchase, Hallmark will donate $1 to Toys for Tots.

"We're delighted to continue our ongoing support of Toys for Tots, a wonderful program that brings joy to millions of children," said John X. Watson, president - Hallmark Retail. "We believe that Hello Kitty's spirit is emblematic of the holiday season and couldn't be happier to help spread smiles and heartfelt messages of positivity and peace, all for a good cause."

Now through Christmas Eve, customers can spread a little itty bittys love and make a big difference for families who might not otherwise be able to provide gifts for their children. The special holiday themed Hello Kitty, Chococat, My Melody & Keroppi itty bittys are available for $6.95 each at Hallmark Gold Crown® stores and online at Hallmark.com, while supplies last.

In addition to a monetary contribution, Hallmark will donate a variety of itty bittys plush toys to Toys for Tots.

"We're thankful to Hallmark for their continued support," said retired Marine Major Bill Grein, vice president of marketing and development, Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. "This program helps us create magical holidays for children in need, and it's special that the families who buy these itty bittys get to share in the joy too."

Hallmark anticipates that it will give up to $1.8 million worth of product and donations to Toys for Tots this holiday season. Last year, Toys for Tots provided toys to nearly 7 million children.
