COVID-19 Update

In response to COVID-19, Hallmark Cards, Inc. is keeping most employees at its Kansas City headquarters on a work from home schedule until further notice. Employees with essential work that must be performed in the building will be notified by their managers, and the building will operate with limited services.

Emergency numbers:

  • To summon medical help or to report a fire or other emergency, employees at headquarters should contact 816-274-4148.
  • Calling Hallmark security, instead of 911, assures that fire, police and other necessary personnel are dispatched immediately to the proper location within the Hallmark facility. Outside emergency operators are unable to trace a call to a specific location within the headquarters complex.

Employees at headquarters can stop by the corporate, McGee, 4D or 8D entrances to pick up a sticker they can adhere to their work phones as a reminder of what number to call in case of an emergency.

Employees should call the 1-888-85CROWN (1-888-852-7696) emergency phone number to hear messages or updates about situations, such as a building closed due to a fire or severe weather. Do not call the number to report an emergency situation or to request help.
