Where Hallmark Products are Made

Almost all Hallmark products sold in North America are designed at our headquarters in Kansas City, Mo. They are produced both in the United States and abroad, wherever we are best able to best meet consumers' expectations for quality, timeliness and price.

In addition to an in-house creative staff of 500+ artists, writers, designers, photographers and sculptors who work in our Kansas City headquarters, we operate several U.S. manufacturing plants. Our manufacturing facilities in Kansas, Texas and Illinois, and our distribution centers in Connecticut and Missouri, employ more than 2,000 full-time workers. They produce most of our greeting cards, gift wrap, stickers and bows, and the store fixtures on which they're displayed.

Production of some items, including some cards as well as most gift products, gift bags and ornaments, is handled by domestic and international suppliers, to manage peaks in demand, cost and technical and production expertise we do not have in-house.
