Hallmark and Cards for the Cure

Hallmark has a licensing agreement with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to create a selection of products, the sale of which benefits the organization’s education, screening and treatment programs to end breast cancer. We will continue to honor that contractual agreement. The products for which a share of the proceeds from consumers’ purchases go to Komen are clearly identified so that shoppers can make their own purchasing decisions.

While we cannot speak for Komen or their decisions and operations, we support their efforts to end breast cancer and over the past 13 years have found them to be single-minded in their focus on women’s breast health. We review our agreements with all licensing partners on the basis of many factors, and can’t speculate about what our future decisions might be on this or any other partnership.

Breast cancer affects our customers, our employees and the retailers who sell our products, and we would like to see this disease ended, too.
