2010 Product Features
- 12 new Mother’s Day Webcam Greetings invite the recipient to visit www.hallmark.com/extra to install an application on their computer. Once installed, the recipient holds the card up to their webcam. When the application recognizes the front of the card, pre-programmed 2D or 3D animation begins, and the card comes to life on the computer screen. Four of the cards also include a pre-recorded sound clip that plays when the card is opened.
- Nine new Mother’s Day Card Kits enable the kids to personalize a card or do an activity with Mom or Grandma. Six of the kits come with stickers and have places to color or personalize, and three of those feature a sound chip that enables the giver to record a personal message for the recipient. The remaining three kits come with everything needed to do an activity— bake cookies, make bracelets, or play Go Fish.
- Two Video Greetings feature a video screen on the cover. The recipient pushes a button to watch a mini movie, lasting 30-60 seconds. One card features classic mother-and-child scenes from Disney movies.
- 22 recordable cards enable the sender to record a 10-second personal message that plays when the recipient opens the card. Thirteen of the cards also feature a sound clip that plays after the recorded message.
- 12 Common Ground humor cards features funny “now-that-I'm-a-parent-I-get-it” content.
- 12 new That’s Motherhood cards were created by consumers as part of Hallmark's ongoing greeting card contests. Consumers submitted their own photos or other artwork and humorous sentiments that will put a smile on any mom's face.

The line includes 30 cards, including two that benefit UNICEF and two that benefit (Product) RED™. The line also includes four Big Time Sound cards, which are 11-by-11-inches and pack powerful sound quality.

Cards for Special Moms
- Hallmark cards offer special wishes for those celebrating their first Mother’s Day as well as cards for expectant moms. This year Hallmark introduced two, gender-specific photo frame cards celebrating first Mother's Day, meant as a keepsake of this special milestone.
