Hallmarket: A Hallmark Art Fair Celebrates Creativity

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Aug. 31, 2016) — Back for its 7th year, "Hallmarket" will showcase the creative talents of Hallmark employees. The art fair will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., on the Crown Center Square.

Hallmark employees (current and retired) will display and offer their personal works of art for sale. A wide array of artwork will be available including textiles, sculptures, art quilts, jewelry, oil and watercolor paintings, photography, and other media. These pieces are the personal work of the participants, created outside their jobs with Hallmark.

Hallmarket is a chance for creative excitement and rejuvenation for all. Many Hallmarket participants are Hallmark artists who enjoy the opportunity to create art that is not their designated style or media at work. Other participants are not employed as artists but create outstanding pieces from their own outpouring of creativity.

Hallmarket is a chance for everyone to experience the creative passion that flows through the Hallmark community, whether purchasing a piece of art, watching an art demonstration, or connecting personally with so many creative and fascinating people.

Hallmarket is free and open to the public. Purchases of artwork are made directly from the artist.
