Hallmark Partners with Award-Winning Comedy Brand Funny Or Die to Create Shoebox Card Collection

Greeting card collection will be created in collaboration with Funny Or Die based on votes from fans, consumers and followers

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (April 3, 2017) — Hallmark’s Shoebox brand today announced that it will partner with the comedy brand Funny or Die to vet humor content for a new collection of Shoebox Funny Or Die greeting cards.

Funny Or Die collaborated with the creative team at Hallmark to develop designs and editorial for 24 cards, which will be displayed on FunnyorDie.com/Shoebox. Each week in April, six of the 24 cards will be posted for fans, consumers and followers to vote for their favorites. The 12 most popular cards will be produced by Hallmark for a Shoebox Funny Or Die card collecton.

“The Shoebox brand is irreverent, unexpected and sometimes edgy, which makes a partnership with Funny Or Die a natural fit,” said Sarah Tobaben, Creative Director – Shoebox. “We are excited to partner with Funny Or Die and see what resonates most with those who vote – and ultimately, to bring even more relevant and on-trend humor content to life in Shoebox.”

The Shoebox Funny Or Die collection will feature 12 Everyday cards and will be available at select Hallmark retailers in August 2017.
