Drawing Inspiration From Storied Past, Hallmark Introduces Heritage Collection

Hallmark showcases heritage of artistry and craftsmanship with premium holiday product line

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 29, 2016) — With a century's worth of archival treasures and lore to draw on, Hallmark introduces a new premium line for Christmas 2016 called the Hallmark Heritage Collection. Featuring high-quality, finely crafted ornaments and holiday décor, as well as greeting cards and gift wrap, all inspired by imagery of the past, the Heritage Collection is available at Hallmark Gold Crown® stores and Hallmark.com starting in October.

History Reimagined

"The Hallmark Heritage Collection is inspired by our company's rich heritage and passion for connecting, creativity and craftsmanship," said Jen Seyller, Hallmark Gold Crown vice president – retail product. "Classic designs are reimagined with a fresh, sophisticated style. This is truly a timeless collection that will become a treasured part of a family's Christmas decorating traditions."

Ornaments and holiday décor are the centerpieces of the Hallmark Heritage Collection:

  • Heritage Collection Ornaments – The 29 ornate and original blown-glass ornaments embody quality and craftsmanship. Each ornament is inspired by a piece from the Hallmark archives, interpreted by a Hallmark artist, then hand-blown and crafted by artisans in Poland. (Prices range from $19.95 to $59.95)
  • Heritage Collection Décor – This collection of 17 holiday decorations brings the spirit of Christmas past to life in a new way for the holidays. Two classic icons – Santa and Angels – provide themes for the collection, each interpreted with a tie to Hallmark's history. Premium materials bring vintage charm to pillows, figurines, stockings, framed art and decorative accessories. (Prices range from $19.95 to $89.95)

Additional Heritage Collection products include:

  • Heritage Christmas Cards – Eight boxed Christmas card designs for general sending and 16 individual cards for family relationships feature details like fine-line foil, deep embossing, faux pearls, tassels, ribbons and more. Contemporary patterns with archival lettering and design bring a fresh look to vintage artwork while warm messages create lasting connections. (Prices range from $4.99 for individual cards to $19.99 for boxed cards)
  • Heritage Christmas Gift Wrap – A small assortment of gift bags and wrapping paper designs in rich gold and warm red coordinate with the Santa and Angel décor collections. (Prices range from $1.99 to $4.99)

The Hallmark Heritage Collection arrives in Hallmark Gold Crown stores and on Hallmark.com during the Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Debut event, which occurs Oct. 1-9. For more details, visit Hallmark.com/Heritage.
