Hallmark Declares Winners in “All About Teens” Greeting Card Contest

Winning cards sold online at Hallmark.com

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (June 7, 2012) — Hallmark today announces the winners in its recent card-creation contest, “All About Teens.” Greeting card design and writing hopefuls were invited to create a sweet or funny birthday or Valentine’s Day card to let a teen know he or she is loved.

Contestants submitted their creations in April. The 23 winning designs will be sold on Hallmark.com beginning June 4. In-store winners will be announced in December and will be featured in Hallmark Gold Crown® stores and Walmart stores in January 2013. Winners each receive $250 and could win an additional $250 if their cards are chosen for in-store sales.

Hallmark judges looked for cards with funny or sweet photography, illustration or design, and writing that worked well together and could be sent to all types of teens. Participants could enter a total of four different cards, one for each of the four categories – sweet Valentine’s Day, funny Valentine’s Day, sweet birthday and funny birthday. Entrants were encouraged to check out the Hallmark Contest Facebook page for tips on this contest.
